Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with dual 4G VoLTE launched in China

Xiaomi has officially launched Redmi Note 5 Pro in China and company is calling it as Redmi Note 5 AI Dual Camera. The handset has already been launched in India last month.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (AI Dual Camera) features in two rear shooters. It has 12MP primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, F/1.9 Aperture, 1.25μm pixel size and supports PDAF, Dual PD dual-core speed focus. It has secondary 5MP rear camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and Samsung sensor. At the front is 13MP selfie camera with LED Flash and records 1080p videos.
The smartphone measures 158.6 x 75.4 x 8.05 mm and weighs 181 grams. It has fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor. It houses Hybrid Dual Nano SIM Slots of which one doubles up for MicroSD card. Dual 4G VoLTE is also supported (lacks in Indian version). The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9 on top.
The Redmi Note 5 AI Dual Camera features in 5.99-inch 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 84% NTSC Color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 450nits brightness. Multi-touch is also supported.
Internal hardware makes up of 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM with 32GB storage. There are 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options as well which offers 64GB eMMC 5.0 storage. All models allow further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
It is equipped with 4000 mAh (typical) / 3900 mAh (minimum) battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0. The variant in India supports Quick Charge.2.0. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS+GLONASS etc.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 AI dual camera comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue colors. It will go on sale in China from March 20th, 2018.
