Xiaomi has just announced its latest Redmi Note Series smartphone in India called Redmi Note 6 Pro. It was first introduced back in September 2018.
The mobile is successor to Redmi Note 5 Pro and offers a slight upgrade in terms of specs.The device measures 157.9 x 76.38 x 8.2 mm and comes with Infrared sensor and fingerprint sensor. It has aluminum build and sports curved arc design.
The device run on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with MIUI 10 on top. It has 6.26-inch IPS LCD multi-touch 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 403ppi pixel density, 500nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 19:9 aspect ratio.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specs include 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The cell phone features in dual front and dual rear cameras. At the front side is 20MP primary camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture. A secondary 2MP depth shooter is also present at the front with F/2.2 Aperture and 1.75μm pixel size. AI Face unlock is also supported.
At the back side is 12MP primary rear camera with F/1.9 Aperture, 1.4μm pixel size, Dual PD focus and EIS. There is a secondary 5 MP camera with F/2.2 aperture, 1.72μm pixel size and dual-tone LED flash. Both front and rear cameras come with AI features like AI portraits, AI Beauty and AI scene recognition. Additionally, there is new adjustable bokeh, 6 effects in studio lighting and 6 dynamic bokeh effects.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 4000 mAh (typical) / 3900 mAh (minimum) battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Company claims that it offers 30 hours of call time, 22 hours of music, 8 hours gaming, 15 hours of video playback, 6 hours of 1080p recording and about 12 days of standby. It also comes with 380V power adapter.
Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio jack.
