Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite with Snapdragon 425 launched in India

Xiaomi has launched Redmi Y1 Lite budget smartphone in India. It is cheaper version of Redmi Y1, featuring several cut down specs.
The handset is 7.55 mm thick, weighs just about 150 grounds and comes with Dedicated dual SIM slots and microSD slot. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with MIUI 8 on top. It is also upgradable to MIUI 9.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite specs include 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC with Adreno 308 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and allows further expansion as well.
It’s front camera has been scaled down to 5MP with F/2.0 Aperture. On the back side is 13MP primary camera with LED Flash, PDAF and F/2.2 Aperture.
It has 3080 mAh typical battery capacity that is claimed to offer up to 35 hours of talk time. Most of connectivity options are supported as well.
