Xiaomi has officially taken wraps of its latest Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra smartphones. These are officially first mobiles from Xiaomi to feature IP68 water resistant rating.
Both of these have an in-screen fingerprint sensor which supports heart rate monitoring. These have Dual Nano SIM slots with 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE support. They are powered by Android 11 based MIUI 12.5.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro has dimensions of 164.3 x 74.6 x 8.53 mm and weighs 208 grams. It has triple rear cameras which include 50MP (main 1/1.12″ Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor, F/1.95, 1.4um pixels, OIS) + 13MP (123-degree ultra-wide, F/2.4) + 8MP (telephoto, F/3.4, OIS, up to 50X zoom, 5X optical zoom) shooters with LED Flash. The handset can also record 8K at 30fps, 4K at 60fps and slow motion 720p at 960fps / 1920fps.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has measurements of 164.3 x 74.6 x 8.38 mm and has weight of 234 grams. It comes Triple cameras as well but with different shooters. These include 50MP (main 1/1.12″ Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor, F/1.95, 1.4um pixel, OIS) + 48MP (128-degree ultra-wide Sony IMX586 sensor, F/2.2) + 48MP (telepthoto, Sony IMX586 sensor, F/4.1, OIS, 5X optical, 10x hybrid, 120x hybrid zoom) + dToF sensor with Flicker sensor. The ultra variant can also record 8K at 30fps, 4K at 60fps, slow motion 720p at 960/1920fps.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro / Mi 11 Ultra feature a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED dot-display with HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision. The screen offers 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, MEMC, 100% DCI-P3 wide colors, 5000000:1 (Min) contrast ratio, 900nits / 1700nits (peak) brightness and sports Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. The Mi 11 Ultra has an additional 1.1-inch AMOLED always-on touch display at the rear side, offering 294 x 126 pixels resolution and 450nits peak brightness.
Both smartphones are powered by octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. These have 2000m㎡ VC LiquidCool Technology for keeping thermals in check. These come with 20MP front facing camera with F/2.2 Aperture and 0.8um pixel size. Powering their hardware is a 5000mAh (typical) / 4900mAh (minimum) battery which supports 67W wired (QC4+ / QC3+ / PD3.0) fast charging, 67W wireless fast charging and 10W Wireless reverse charging.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro has options of 8GB RAM (LPPDDR5 6400MHz) with 128GB / 256GB storage (UFS 3.1) options and 12GB RAM (LPPDDR5 6400MHz) with 256GB built-in storage space (UFS 3.1). The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra specs include 8GB LPPDDR5 6400MHz RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, 12GB LPPDDR5 6400MHz RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB LPPDDR5 6400MHz RAM with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
Both of these cellphones come with dual speakers with Hi-Res audio and sound tuned by Harman Kardon. There is no 3.5mm audio jack in both of them so users will have to suffice with USB Type-C audio. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax 8X MU-MIMO, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS(L1+L5)/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo etc.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro color options include Black, Purple and Green shades. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra color options are Ceramic Black, Ceramic White and Marble White shades. Both of them are already up for order and will go ons ale from April 2nd.
