Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest smartwatch in China called Xiaomi Watch S1 (model: M2108W1). It is priced at 1199 Yuan ($172 / Rs. 14,060 approx.) and comes in Black (with silicone strap) and Silver (with Brown / Blue strap) colors.

The wearable comes with stainless steel frame. The device itself measures 46.5 x 46.5 x 11 mm and offers 5ATM water resistant rating (up to 50 meters). It comes with standalone speaker and microphone for making calls using Bluetooth or to access Xiaoai voice assistant.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 feature in a 1.43-inch AMOLED always-on screen with Sapphire Glass protection on top. The display gives out 466 x 466 pixels resolution. The device boots with MIUI Watch OS out of the box.
The smartwatch can track heart beats and Blood oxygen saturation levels (SpO2). It has several other sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, air pressure, geomagnetic and special capacitive sensor for wear detection.
For fitness enthusiasts, Xiaomi has included 17 professional sports modes and 100 extended sports modes. The Watch S1 allows fitness tracking and sleep tracking as well.
The smartwatch uses Bluetooth V5.2 for connectivity with mobiles. It is compatible with phones running on Android 6.0 and above OR iOS 10 and above. The device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS positioning.
The Xiaomi S1 smartwatch houses 470mAh battery. It delivers up to 12 days of battery life on typical usage and up to 24 days in long battery life mode.
