Xiaomi’s Huami Amazfit Watch 2 and Watch 2S launched

Huami, Xiaomi’s sub wing company has launched two new Smartwatch called Amazfit Watch 2 and Amazfit Watch 2S. Both of them have literally same specifications, with latter having Sports and a Leather 22mm strap.
Both of them come with 5ATM rating, making it waterproof up to 50 meter depths. These smartwatch are compatible with devices running on Android 4.4 or iOS 9 or above.
There is a Amazefit Watch App 2.0 which can bind watches, synchronize data, daily activities and motion history. It is also compatible with third-party apps like Yue Run.
The Amazfit Watch 2 / Watch 2S features in new design, which is a fusion of variety of material processes. It supports 11 kind of sports modes like unning, walking, outdoor riding, swimming pool, open water swimming, indoor running, indoor riding, elliptical machines, mountaineering, cross country running, Triathlon etc.
Both of these smartwatch’s are more than capable of providing pofessional sports performance data. They offer Real-time display of core data during exercise, and promptly reminding after exercise routines. They have Firstbeat motion algorithm that gives array physical exercise indicators including the maximum oxygen uptake (VO 2 max), Exercise load (TD) and recovery time required.
Additionally, Amazfit Watch 2 and Amazfit Watch 2S supports Alipay and Smart Home Control. It also supports playback of songs using Bluetooth (in headset), incoming calls, Push notifications, silent alarms etc.

The Amazfit Watch 2 price is set at 999 Yuan (US$ 150 / Rs. 9800 approx.) and will start shipping from December 31st. The Amazfit Watch 2S cost 1499 Yuan (US$ 226 / Rs. 14,700) and will be available from January 9th.
