Xiaomi Mi TV4 4K HDR TV with 55-inch display launched in India

Xiaomi has officially launched its latest MI TV in India. This 55-inch 4K HDR TV runs on Android OS and comes with Patch Wall UI layer on top. Patch Wall is a deep learning Al technology that curates content based on recommendations.
Aesthetically speaking, the Xiaomi MI TV features in 4.9mm frame less design. It comes with 11-button remote control with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to change channels without pointing remote to the TV. The remote combines Smart TV and STB experience seamlessly with MI IR cable (plug-and-play)
The 55-inch Xiaomi MI 4K HDR TV delivers 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, 8ms response and sports 178-degree wide viewing angles. Under the hood is 1.8GHz quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 chipset with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU clocked at 750MHz. Futher more, it has 2GB DDR4 RAM and 8GB eMMC storage 5.1 ROM.
This MI TV also supports all major set-top boxes from 35000 plus DTH/cable operators across 48 different brands. It also supports 12 system and 14 content Indian languages for personalized touch. Xiaomi is also planning to introduce profiles later this year.
The TV is more than capable of handling H.265 4K at 60/30 fps, H.265 1080p at 60fps, H.263 1080p at 30fps, MPEG 1/2/4 DivX4, VC-1/WMV 1080p at 60fps and REAL 8/9/10 1080p at 30fps.
Other features include dual speakers that supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. Connectivity wise, it has Mi Port, three HDMI 2.0, AV, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and Ethernet port. Moreover, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz)and Bluetooth V. 0 LE is also supported.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 price in India is set at Rs. 39,999 and will be available online exclusively at Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting February 22. Xiaomi is also giving free on-site installation (first 3months) and free 3 months for Hungama and Sony LIV.
