Xolo finally broke its silence and has launched ERA 5X, its latest budget smartphone in India. The mobile packs in rear facing fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock (unlocks in 0.6 seconds).
The Xolo ERA 5X features in a 5.7-inch multi-touch 2.5D curved glass display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and includes Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.
The mobile packs in dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It phone has dimensions of 152.2 x 73 x 7.0 mm and has weight of 141.6 grams. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Star OS 5.0.
The Xolo Era 5X specs include 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor with IMG PowerVR GE-Class GPU. The chipset is partnered with 3GB RAM while the storage option in 32GB (expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD).
A 3000 mAh battery powers the hardware. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack are present.
The Xolo Era 5X price in India is Rs. 7499 (US$ 110 approx.) and comes in Black color. It will go on sale at Amazon.in and Flipkart from today. Jio users can avail cash back vouchers of up to Rs. 1200 and additional 50GB data. Exchange discounts up to Rs.1500 are also there.
