ZTE expands its Axon lineup with its latest AXON 30 5G smartphone. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and is powered by Android 11 based MyOS 11.
The ZTE Axon 30 feature a 6.92-inch OLED 10-bit display offering 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Its screen delivers 100% DCI-P3 colors and sports TUV, SGS and UL eye protection certificates. It also comes with an independent display chip for intelligent pixel enhancements and intelligent display optimizations for more accurate and synchronized picture.
This smartphone comes with 2nd generation under-display camera with 400ppi pixel density. It has seven layers of highly transparent materials and leverages three special processing technologies to make in-display camera more light transmissible. Additionally, there is a 4-in-1 (2.24um equivalent) larger light-sensitive are for enhanced shooting capabilities.
It has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side are quad-cameras with LED flash. These makeup of 64MP (main) + 5MP (119-degree ultra-wide) + 5MP (macro, 3cm shots) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras and LED flash. The handset also supports multi-camera simultaneous shooter, 3D Lut Filters, Super Night mode and classic filters.
The ZTE Axon 30 specs include octa-core Snapdragon 870 mobile platform with Adreno 650 GPU. It comes in options of 6GB / 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage space and 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. There is no microSD card support.
The mobile itself measures 170.2 x 77.8 x 7.8 mm and weighs just about 189 grams. The rear shell of phone is made from 3D composite polymer material with nano-level glow texture on top.
Specifications of ZTE Axon 30 also include 4200mAh (typical) / 4100mAh (minimum) battery with 55W Fast charging support. It has support for 5G (SA/NSA) bands and includes 5G Super Antenna 3.1 with anti-lock antenna system for enhanced network coverage. It has dual Wi-Fi antennas as well.
For connectivity, mobile phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC and USB Type-C audio. There is support for DTS:X Ultra as well.
