ZTE has launched new higher mid-range Axon series smartphone for its homegrown Chinese market. The handset is dubbed as ZTE Axon 30S 5G (model: ZTE A2322).

The phone has measurements of 170.2 x 77.8 x 7.8 mm and weighs about 189 grams (including battery). It has dual SIM slots and supports 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE.
The phone sports a 6.92-inch LCD display with 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 400ppi pixel density and 120Hz refresh rate. It has 10-bit colors and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Notably, ZTE has included an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 870 5G mobile platform with Adreno 650 GPU. It comes in options of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage space. There is support for microSD card as well.
The ZTE Axon 30S feature in a 16MP under-display front facing camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side is a combination of 64MP main, 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide and 5MP macro lenses along with LED Flash.
The Axon 30S specs include a 4200mAh (typical) battery with 55W fast charging support. The handset runs on latest Android 12 with MyOS UI on top. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Bediou are supported.
