ZTE has just announced two new mid-range smartphones at MWC 2017 called Blade V8 Mini and Blade V8 Lite. Both of them come with rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
ZTE Blade V8 Mini
The phone has dimensions of 143.5 x 79 x 8.9 mm. It has Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots with Dual Standby and supports 4G LTE. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The smartphone packs in 5-Inch IPS LCD display with 1280x 720 pixels resolution. It has 294ppi pixel density, 68.6% screen-to-body ratio and supports multi-touch.
The Blade V8 Mini specs include 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 MSM8940 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB.
It has 5MP front facing camera with LED Flash. On the back side sits 13MP + 2MP dual cmaera setup with LED flash. It supports Auto Focus, Touch Focus and 1080p video recording at 30 Fps.
The handset is equipped with 2800 mAH Li-Ion non removable battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
ZTE Blade V8 Lite
The lite variant features the same 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 294ppi pixel density. It has 67.9% screen-to-body ratio thou.
It has 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 1GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB.
The cellphone houses hybrid dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE as well. The Blade V8 Lite sports 5MP front camera for selfies and 8MP rear Auto Focus camera with LED flash.
The Blade V8 Mini will be available in array of markets across Asia Pacific and Europe. The Blade V8 Lite will be available in Italy, Germany and Spain. Pricing details and exact availability details were not revealed.
