Alcatel 1X Android Oreo (Go Edition) announced for India markets

Just recently at MWC 2018, Alcatel unveiled its 1X Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone. Now company has officially announced the handset for Indian markets.
As expected, it comes with Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition OS and comes pre-loaded with specific Google GO apps which offer enhanced performance, are smaller in size and efficiently use data.
In terms of specifications, the Alcatel 1X Android Oreo Go edition features in 5.34-inch display with 960 x 480 pixels resolution, which is 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by 1.28GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC coupled with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU.
The handset packs in 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card. It has 8MP front and 13MP auto focus rear cameras. Both have LED Flash for clicking photos in low light conditions.
The Alcatel 1X Go Edition measures 147.5 x 70.6 x 9.15 mm and weighs 151 grams. It is powered by 2460 mAh battery. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. Othe options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, MicroUSB V2.0, USB OTG, NFC, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Alcatel 1X Android Oreo Go Edition prices have not been revealed. It is expected to go on sale in India soon.
