TCL has officially introduced three new smartphones called Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 5. Company took to CES 2018 to announce these mobiles.
These handsets in Alcatel 1, 3 and 5 Series are also one of the first smartphone lineup to bring 18:9 displays. With this, company hopes to offer flagship like experience in its mid to low range products.
Starting with Alcatel 5 Series, it is specially designed to offer premium experience at an affordable tag. Apart from 18:9 FullView display, it will have face unlock, nice camera and large battery that should last you a day.
The Alcatel 3 Series will have products with large screens, high resolutions and 18:9 aspect ratio. All the devices including 3V will have dual-cameras and will be trendy looking, yet easier on the pockets.
TCL did not reveal much about the specifications of Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 5. Although, company did reveal that these handsets use Qualcomm and MediaTek SoC’s. We expect more details to be available in future, probably at MWC 2018.
Christian Gatti, Global President Alcatel Business Division and Executive Vice President TCL Communication commented –
As the global smartphone market continues to evolve, we come into a new year recognizing the need to stabilize and transform our Alcatel smartphone portfolio to better serve our customers and meet the opportunities ahead.
By modernizing our smartphone designs and being one of the first global manufacturers to offer 18:9 full view displays across the majority of our lineup, we’re able to refocus our efforts at democratizing flagship style features and making these experiences accessible to almost any consumer worldwide.
