Apple has officially launched its new iPhone SE smartphone. It is successor to previous iPhone SE model. It is offered in Product RED, Midnight and Starlight colors.
The new iPhone SE will go on order in 30 countries, including India from March 11th. Selling of the phone starts from March 18th.

The iPhone SE 2022 model offers dual SIM connectivity with its Nano slot and eSIM support. It allows 5G (Sub-6GHz) and delivers Gigabit-class LTE.
The phone itself measures 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm and weighs 144 grams. It comes with Touch ID fingerprint sensor for biometrics. The device sports IP67 water and dust resistant rating (depths of 1 meter up to 30 minutes) and comes with stereo speakers.
The new Apple iPhone SE model feature in a small 4.7-inch IPS LCD multi-touch display that gives 1344 x 750 pixels resolution at 326ppi pixel density, 1400:1 (typical) contrast ratio and 625nits (typical) brightness. It has a True Tone display with Haptic touch, delivering wide DCI-P3 colors and sports fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating.
Powering inside is an hexa-core (2 x Performance + 4 x efficiency) A15 Bionic cihpset with 4-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. The new iPhone SE 2022 models are offered with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage options.
In terms of optics, it has 7MP front facing camera with F/2.2 Aperture, Deep Fusion, Auto HDR (for photos), Auto Image Stabilization, Time-Lapse Video with stabilization, Cinematic Video Stabilization (1080p/720p), 1080p video recording at 25/30fps and Retina Flash.
The Apple iPhone SE 2022 specs include a single 12MP wide camera with F/1.8 Aperture, up to 5X digital zoom, OIS, 6-element lens, up to 63MP panorama, Auto Focus with Focus Pixels and Sapphire Crystal Lens cover. The smartphone offers Deep Fusion, Smart HDR 4 for photos, Advanced Eye correction, Auto Image Stabilization, 4K video at 24/30/60fps, 1080p at 25/30/60fps OIS for videos and slo-mo video at 1080p at 120/240fps.
This new Apple phone has a built-in battery that goes from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes using 20W adapter or higher (sold separately). It supports wireless charging and works with Qi chargers. the iPhone SE’s battery is rated to deliver up to 15 hours of video playback / up to 10 hours video streaming / up to 50 hours of audio.
The mobile runs on iOS 15 out of the box. The device brings support for Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, NFC with reder mode and GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS/Beidou. The device has range of sensors like barometer, 3-axis gyro, accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors.
