ASUS ROG Phone 2 full specs out by TENAA

ASUS is all set to announce ROG Phone successor called ROG Phone 2. Ahead of its next weeks announcement, the phone has been certified by TENAA revealing its full specs sheet and photos.

The ROG Phone 2 bear model numbers ASUS_I001DB and ASUS_I001DA. ASUS has already confirmed us that the mobile will be powered by 2.95GHz octa-core Snapdragon 855+ Mobile Platform.

According to TENAA listing, ASUS ROG Phone II (ASUS_I001DB and ASUS_I001DA) has dimensions of 170.99 x 77.6 x 9.78 mm and weighs 240 grams.

It packs in 6.590inch OLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch. Chatters point to a 120Hz display and latest Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

The ROG Phone 2 will come in 8GB / 12GB RAM options. These have storage options of 128GB, 512GB and 1TB. Notably, it will exclude MicroSD card support (according to TENAA).

Photos revealed by TENAA hint a dual camera setup at the back however, its official listing mentions a single 48MP rear shooter with dual LED Flash. At the front side will be a 24MP selfie shooter.

It will include a 5800 mAh battery capacity. Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Hotspot, Dual Band, USB Type-C, Bluetooth V5.0 and GPS will be supported.

The ASUS ROG Phone 2 will come in Black color. Its official launch is slated for July 23rd which is Tuesday.
