ASUS ROG Phone II tipped to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Mobile Platform

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) is gearing up for the announcement of its next generation gaming phone called ROG Phone II. Today, company has confirmed that it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Mobile Platform.

The ASUS ROG Phone 2 will be first smartphone that will use Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. The chipsets Kryo 485 cores runs at up to 2.96GHz which offers about 4.2% improvement when compared to the 2.84GHz in Snapdragon 855.

The Snapdragon 855 Plus is paired with Adreno 640 GPU which is also clocked 15% faster than its current Snapdragon 855 SoC.

Full specifications of ASUS ROG Phone II will be out in coming weeks.
