Bankrupt Gionee is trying to make a comeback. Just recently GN5601 got certified by TENAA and now, company has released it as GIONEE Steel 5 smartphone.
The handset features in a 6.217-inch multi-tuch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch. The handset measures 159.75 x 75.9 x 9.9 mm and boots on Android 9.0 Pie based AmigoOS.
The Gionee Steel 5 will come in configurations of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage space. It has 4G Support via its dual SIM Slots. There is an octa-core SoC which powers the hardware.
The mobile comes with 13MP front facing camera for selfies. At the back side is a dual camera setup of 12MP (main, AF) + 2MP (depth) shooters. These cameras and two LED flash are placed inside a square module.
The Gionee Steel 5 specs include 5000mAh battery with 10W (5V/2A) fast charging support. It has support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm Audio Jack as well.
Pricing and availability of Gionee Steel 5 is yet to be announced.
