GIONEE is not dead. Company has received a new TENAA certification for its phone bearing model number GN5601. The handset sports dual SIM support and boots on Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Gionee GN5601 is certified with 6.217-inch IPS display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution at 19:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. At its core is an octa-core chipset with clock speeds of 2GHz x 4 + 1.5GHz x 4.
TENAA confirms model with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage space. It has MicroSD card support for further expansion up to 128GB. There is a mention of 13MP primary camera and 12MP + 2MP or 13MP + 2MP secondary shooters.
The Gionee GN5601 houses a huge 5000mAh battery. It comes with built-in Gravity, Distance and Light sensors. The device measures 159.75 x 75.9 x 9.9 mm and weighs about 265 grams. Usual connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack will be supported.
The GN5601 comes in Starry Black, Quicksand Gold and Ocean Blue colors.
