Huawei‘s Honor brand has announced its latest smartphone in China called the Honor 5 (also known as Honor Play 5). It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The Phone packs in a 5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek TM6735P processor with Mali-T720 GPU.
The Honor 5 Specs include 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage space and MicroSD card slot that allows further expansion up to 128GB.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite. It has 2200 mAh battery inside that powers the hardware.
The smartphone measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.9 mm and weighs 138 grams. It has 2MP selfie camera with selfie LED flash. On the back is an 8MP auto focus snapper with LED Flash. On the left side is a dedicated key that launches applications on long press. Double press will launch camera etc.
The device supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Honor 5 is priced at 599 CNY (US$ 90). It will go on sale in China from August 2, 2016 and comes in White, Black and Gold colour options.
