Honor has officially announced three new smartphones under its HONOR 70 series lineup. These include vanilla HONOR 70 5G, HONOR 70 Pro and HONOR 70 Pro+.
All of these cellphones are already up for order in China and will go on sale from June 7th, June 10th and June 17th respectively.
HONOR 70 specs and price
The non pro model sports a 6.67-inch OLED curved display and gives 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It has HDR10 support, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, 100% DCI-P3 colors and delivers up to 1000nits of brightness.
The smartphone itself measures 161.4 x 73.3 x 7.9 mm and weighs 178 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The dual Nano SIM slots present handles 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE. The device boots with Android 12 based Magic UI 6.1.
The HONOR 70 specs include octa-core Snapdragon 778G+ mobile platform with Adreno 642L GPU. It has 8GB/12GB RAM options with 256GB storage. The top-end 12GB RAM model has 512GB storage space.
It comes with 32MP front camera with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back is a combo of 54MP (main, 1/1.49-inch IMX800 sensor, F/1.9) + 50MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2, macro) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras along with LED Flash.
The HONOR 70 feature in a 4800mAh battery capacity and allows 66W SuperCharge fast charging. The smartphone comes with stereo speakers with Type-C audio support. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.

HONOR 70 Pro and HONOR 70 Pro+ specs, price
Both of these mobile phones are basically same with only noticeable difference being their chipset.
The HONOR 70 Pro feature in Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8000 processor with Mali-G610 6-core GPU. The HONOR 70 Pro+ is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor with Mali-G710 10-core GPU.
Both of these Pro/Pro+ models come with 6.78-inch OLED HDR10 curved display and offers 2652 x 1200 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, 100% DCI-P3 colors and up to 1000nits brightness.
They measure 163.9 x 74.6 x 8.18 mm and have weight of 192 grams. They come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. These have dual Nano SIM Slots supporting 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE.
Depending on model, HONOR 70 Pro / HONOR 70 Pro Plus have 8GB/12GB RAM options with 256GB/512GB storage space. Both of these come with 50MP font camera with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras with LED Flash. These include 54MP (main, 1/1.49-inch IMX800 sensor, F/1.9, OIS), 50MP (ultra-wide with macro mode, F/2.2) and 8MP (OIS, up to 30x digital zoom, 3x optical zoom, F/2.4) cameras.
The 70 Pro / Pro+ include a 4500mAh battery and allows 100W SuperCharge fast charging. These run on Android 12-based Magic UI 6.1 and offers premium audio with Stereo speakers. Connectivity options are same as vanilla HONOR 70.
