Honor Watch Magic smartwatch with GPS announced

Huawei’s Honor brand has announced Honor Watch Magic smartwatch in China. It was introduced along side Magic 2 smartphone.
The Honor Watch Magic is fairly similar to Huawei Watch GT, but in a smaller form factor. It has dual-crown design and 9.8mm stainless steel case. Its body is made of 316L cold forged stainless steel.
The smartwatch has dimensions of 42.8 x 42.8 x 9.8 mm and has weight of 32 grams. It has 5ATM water resistant rating which offers protection up to 50 meters.
The Honor Watch Magic features in 1.2-inch AMOLED touch display with 390 x 390 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. It is powered by ARM M4 Chipset and comes with 16MB RAM and 128MB storage.
The watch is compatible with most smartphones running on Android 4.4 or later and iOS 9.0 or later. It connects with devices using Bluetooth V4.2. A 178mAh battery powers the hardware which is claimed to last up to 7 days.
The Honor Watch Magic packs in TurSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology which tracks users active heart rate. It leverages PPG optical / Hardware design and AI algorithms to monitor heart rate of wearer in real time with precision.
Honor Watch Magic Photo 2Additionally, there is TruRelax Technology which analyses heart rate variability and access your stress levels. The Smartwatch also supports sports activity tracking like indoor exercises, swimming, mountain climbing, cycling etc.
It has built-in GPS / GLONASS and GALILEO which helps find routes, distance walked, traveled etc. The smartwatch also includes built-in NFC which supports Huawei Pay.
The Honor Watch Magic price starts at 899 Yuan (US$ 130 / Rs. 9500 approx.) for Black color with Silicon band. The Silver color with Leather Band costs 999 Yuan (US$ 143 / Rs. 10,550 approx.). The smartwatch is already up for order in China.
