Honor YAL-AL50 / YAL-TL50 with up to 12GB RAM gets certified, similar to Honor 20

A new Honor Smartphone with model numbers YAL-AL50 and YAL-TL50 have been certified by TENAA. They have specifications very similar to Honor 20, but houses a different camera setup at the back.

For starters, YAL-AL50/TL50 will houses Dual SIM slots and run on Android 9.0 Pie (with Magic UI 2.0). It is listed with fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back (no mention of in-display by TENAA).

The device has same dimensions of 154.25 x 73.97 x 7.87 mm but weighs slightly less at 172 grams. The mobile sports a 6.26-inch multi-touch IPS display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The Honor YAL-AL50 / YAL-TL50 comes with an octa-core processor which is probably same Kirin 980 SoC ( (2.6GHz A76 x 2 + 1.92GHz A76 x 2 + 1.8GHz A55 x 4) seen in Honor 20. It comes in 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM with 128GB/256GB Storage options.

In terms of cameras, these devices comes with a triple camera setup (opposed to quad cameras in Honor 20) at the back consisting of 48MP (main) + 8MP (telephoto) + 2MP (Macro) shooters. For selfies, the mobile is listed with 32MP front camera.

The YAL-AL50 / TL50 houses 3650 mAh (minimum) battery capacity and will support fast charging. Additionally, the device include Gravity, Distance and Light sensors.

Usual connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS will be present.

The HONOR YAL-AL50 / YAL-TL50 will come in Black color. It will be placed somewhere between Honor 20 Lite and Honor 20.
