HTC X2 launched for SoftBank, HTC U11 Life in disguise

HTC X2 has been officially launched in Japan at SoftBank. The handset is just an Android One iteration of U11 Life but with a new name.
In terms of specifications, the handset measures 149.1 x 72.9 x 8.1 mm and weighs about 142 grams. It has IP67 rating for water / dust resistance.
The HTC X2 specs include a 5.2-inch Super LCD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 424ppi pixel density. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well.
The mobile runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS. As it is an Android One smartphone, do expect to get latest Android updates.
The mobile is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 4GB RA. It has 64GB internal ROM and allows further expansion using MicroSD Card.
The HTC X2 feature in 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and records 1080p videos as well. At the back side is a 16MP primary camera with LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, PDAF, Touch Focus and 4K video recording support.
The hardware is juiced up by 2600 mAh battery capacity. The smartphone features in front mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with dedicated microphone for noise cancellation.
The HTC X2 will be released at Japanese Carrier SoftBank in December 2017. It comes in Sapphire Blue and Ice White colors.
