Huawei’s MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 laptops will get a refresh this year. A new leak has revealed specifications of upcoming MateBook 13 2020 and MateBook 14 2020 notebooks. Both of these are rumored to go official at Mobile World Congress 2020 (MWC 2020).
Huawei MateBook 13 2020
The laptop is said to be 14.9mm thick and weighs about 1.32Kg. Its power button will double as a fingerprint sensor for additional security.
The MateBook 13 2020 leaked specs sheet hints to a 13-inch IPD display with 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution, 3:2aspect ratio and 88% screen-to-body ratio. The screen is said to have 4.4mm slim bezels.
The MateBook 13 2020 variants will include two options – one with Core i5-10210U processor and other with Core i7-10510U SoC. These are said to have NVIDIA MX250 GPU.
Also expect 8GB / 16GB RAM options with 512GB PCIe SSD storage. Leaks point to 2 x USB Type-C ports and a Audio Jack. It will also include Shark-Fin dual cooling fans and a 41.7Wh battery with 65W superfast charging support.
Huawei MateBook 14 2020
This will be a larger model, sport a 14-inch display with 2160 x 1440 pixels 2K resolution at 3:2 aspect ratio and boasts 90% screen-to-body ratio.
The MateBook 14 2020 features in Core i5-10210 or Core i7-10510U variants, with 8GB/16GB RAM configurations and 512GB PCIe SSD storage.
The notebook will come with one large cooling fan. A 56Wh battery will be included with 65W SuperFast charging support via USB-C.
The Huawei MateBook 14 2020 will be 15.9mm thick and weighs 1.53 Kg. It will have a one-touch fingerprint sensor along with USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0, HDMI, Full Functional USB Type-C and Audio Port.
