Huawei had launched its new Nova Series phones at IFA 2016 in Berlin. Both of them had 3GB RAM and came in Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey and Prestige Gold colour options.
Now Huawei has silently introduced Nova 4GB RAM variant bearing model number (CAZ-AL10). This new model also offers support for LTE-A carrier aggregation on supported networks, reaching speeds at up to 300Mbps download. Moreover, it comes White and Black colour options.
In terms of specifications, Huawei Nova (CAZ-AL10) specs include 5-Inch IPS display with 1080p resolution and comes with 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood is 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU.
It has 32GB built-in storage ROM, further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card. The smartphone is equipped 12MP camera unit on the back with F/2.2 aperture, 1.25µm pixel size, PDAF and LED flash. On the front is 8MP secondary camera (with F/2.0 aperture) for selfies.
The Nova 4GB RAM model runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Emotion UI4.1 (EMUI 4.1).It has 3020 mAH battery that is said to last up to 2 days of mixed usage. It has fingerprint sensor, dual SIM slots and USB Type-C port. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth V4.0 LE etc.
Pricing details are not known yet, however there are talks suggesting that smartphone is already available in Asian markets.
