iQOO 7 5G with Snapdragon 870 launched in India, rebranded Neo 5 5G

Vivo’s iQOO brand has officially launched iQOO 7 5G smartphone in India. It is basically a rebranded iQOO Neo5 5G.

Global variant dubbed as iQOO 7 5G is powered by Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11.1. It has Dual Nano SIM slots with 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE support. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

The iQOO 7 5G specs include 6.62-inch AMOLED HDR10+ display offering FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate and boasts 91.45% screen-to-body ratio.

The cellphone packs in octa-core Snapdragon 870 SoC inside. It has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage option. Premium variant of iQOO 7 5G feature 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. There is no expansion slot though.

The mobile packs in 4400mAH battery capacity and supports 66W flash charging. It is claimed to fully charge handset in about 30 minutes. Additionally, 45W USB-PD charging is also supported.

The iQOO 7 5G specs include 16MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras consisting of 48MP (main) + 13MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (mono) sensors with LED Flash. Notably, its 13MP ultra-wide lens has 2.5cm macro support.
