Vivo’s iQOO brand has just announced its new iQOO Neo 5 5G smartphone in China. It is powered by OriginOS based on Android11.
Starting with biometrics, the iQOO Neo5 supports face wake facial recognition and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. It has dual Nano slots with 5G / dual 4G VoLTE support.
The iQOO Neo 5 specs include 6.62-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. It has built-in Pixelworks X5 Pro chip and DC dimming for display enhancements. The screen offers up to 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate and delivers 1300nits of peak brightness.
The iQOO Neo5 5G feature octa-core Snapdragon 870 mobile platform with 8GB / 12GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB built-in storage options. For keeping low thermals, iQOO has included liquid cooling system with 6000mm² graphite board, which increases heat dissipation to 210% when compared with its predecessor.
The handset delivers 4D Game Vibrations (V3.0) for enhanced gaming experience. Its 4400mAh battery supports 66W Wired fast charging and 45W USB-PD charging. It can go from 0 to 100% in about 30 minutes.
For optics, iQOO Neo 5 5G houses 16MP selfie shooter coupled with triple cameras at the back, these include 48MP (main) + 13MP (ultra-wide, macro) + 2MP (mono) shooters with LED flash.
