Meizu as expected, has officially announced its 15 Series smartphones at an event in China. The series includes Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Lite and Meizu 15 Plus. All of them are already up for order in China and will start selling from April 29th.
Meizu 15
The handset measures 145 x 72.7 x 7.25 mm and weighs 152 grams. Its fingerprint sensor and unlocks in 0.08 seconds. There is a small home button also comes with pressure sensor chip, which combines with built-in mEngine to give feel of physical home button.
The cell phone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with Flyme OS 7.0 on top. It has Dual SIM slots stereo speakers for optimum sound output.
It has 4GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage options (non expandable). The hardware is powered by 3000 mAh battery and supports mCharge fast charging.
A 20MP camera sits at the front. At the back side are two cameras with 6-LED ring LED flash. The primary rear camera is a 12MP Wide-Angle shooter with 1/2.3-inch Sony IMX380 sensor, F/1.8 Aperture, 1.55μm pixel size, 4-axis OIS, PDAF and Laser AF support. The secondary rear camera is a 20MP shooter with telephoto lens, Sony-IMX350 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, , USB Type-C and 3.5mm Audio Jack
The Meizu 15 Price starts at 2499 Yuan (US$ 395 / Rs. 26,300 approx.) for 64GB storage and goes up to 2799 Yuan (US$ 445 / Rs. 29,470 approx.) for 128GB vairant. The handset comes in White, Black, Blue and Gold colors.
Meizu 15 Lite
The Lite variant features in 5.46-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 1300:1 contrast ratio and multi-touch support. There is a front mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
Under the hood is 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 626 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage space.
The hardware is juiced up by 3000 mAh battery with mCharge fast charging support. The device measures 143.62 x 72.38 x 7.45 mm and weighs 145 grams.
It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. Other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS are supported as well.
The Meizu 15 LIte price is set at 1699 Yuan (US$ 270 / Rs. 17,890 approx.) and comes in Red, Gold and Black colors.
Meizu M15 Plus
The Plus variant is the most powerful of the three. It has a large 5.95-inch Super AMOLED Display which delivers DCI-P3 color gamut. It offers 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 10000:1 contrast ratio and multi-touch support.
Under the hood is 2.5GHz octa-core Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor with Mali G71 MP20 GPU. It has 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage options (non expandable).
The Meizu 15 Plus specs also include 12MP primary wide angle rear camera with 1/2.3-inch Sony IMX380 sensor, F/1.8 Aperture, 1.55μm pixel size, Laser AF and PDAF. There is a secondary 20MP telephto lens at the back which has Sony IMX350 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and 6-LED ring LED flash. At the front is 20MP shooter with F/2.0 Aperture.
The hardware is juiced up by 3500 mAh fast charging battery (mCharge supported). There are stereo speakers and a 3.5mm Audio Jack. Usual connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C are supported.
The Meizu 15 Plus price starts at 2999 Yuan (US$ 475 / Rs. 31,570 approx.) for 64GB model and 3299 Yuan (US$ 525 / Rs. 34,730 approx.) for 128BG storage variant. It comes in White, Gold and Black colors.
