Micromax has officially launched IN 1b successor in India called IN 2b. The handset is powered by Android 11 OS out of the box and does not include any bloatware or unnecessary ads.
The Micromax IN 2b specs include 6.52-inch multi-touch Drop-notch display offering 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, 269ppi pixel density, 1200:1 (typ) contrast ratio, 71% NTSC Color gamut and delivers 400nits of brightness. It also boasts 89% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood is octa-core (1.8GHz A75 x 2 + 1.8GHz A55 x 6) UNISOC T610 processor with Mali-G52 GPU. The IN 2b has 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options and includes 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage space. It does support MicroSD card up to 512GB for further storage expansion.
The Micromax IN 2b features in a 5000mAh battery capacity and supports 10W fast charging. The handset itself measures 164.31 x 75.68 x 8.63 mm and weighs about 190 grams. It comes with a rear facing fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.
For optics, Micromax has included 5MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side are dual cameras which include 13MP (main, F/1.8, 77.2° wide, PDAF) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) shooters with LED flash.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE (dual nano slots), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and 3.5mm audio jack. It has Accelerometer, proximity and light sensors as well.
The Micromax IN 2b color options include Black, Blue and Green shades. It will go on sale at Flipkart and company’s official site from August 6th.
