Moto G51 5G with 5000mAh battery, 120Hz 6.8-inch FHD+ display launched in India

Motorola has officially launched its new mid-range cell phone in India called Moto G51 5G. The handset first made an official appearance last month for European markets.

The Moto G51 is priced in India at INR 14,999 and comes in Indigo Blue and Bright Silver colors. It will go on sale online at Flipkart from December 16th.

The phone measures 170 x 77 x 9 mm and weighs about 208 grams. It comes with Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots and supports 5G (n1/n3/n5/n7/n8/n20/n28/n38/n40/n41/n77/n78 bands) and Dual 4G VoLTE.

The smartphone has IP52 water resistant rating and comes pre-installed with Android 11 OS. It is upgradable to Android 12 in near future. For added security, Motorola has included a side mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Moto G51 5G specs include 6.8-inch LCD display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and multi-touch support.

The mobile houses an octa-core Snapdragon 480+ 5G mobile platform with Adreno 619 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage space. The handset allows further expansion up to 512GB thanks to MicroSD card slot.

The Moto G51 feature a 13MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. Notably, selected markets will get a 16MP selfie shooter. At the back side are triple cameras with LED Flash. These include 50MP (main, F/1.8), 8MP (ultra-wide / depth, F/2.4) and 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses.

The cell phone packs in a 5000mAh battery and supports 20W charging. It has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and 3.5mm audio jack. It includes bottom ported speaker with Dolby Atmos.
