Motorola launches MOTO G71 5G in Chinese markets

Lenovo owned Motorola has officially launched its latest MOTO G71 5G smartphone in China. The device was first introduced for European markets back in November.

The cell phone comes in dimensions of 161.19 x 73.87 x 8.49 mm and weighs 179 grams. It offers dual SIM connectivity and supports 5G and Dual 4G VoLTE.

The cell phone offers IP52 splash resistance and comes with a fingerprint sensor at back. It has Android 11 OS with MIUI UI on top. The device houses a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

The Moto G71 5G specs include a 6.4-inch OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and DCI-P3 colors. It has 2.2Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset inside.

The mobile phone houses 8GB RAM (with 3GB additional virtual RAM) and 128GB built-in storage space. For optics, a 16MP camera sits at front with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back is 50MP (main, F/1.8, quad-pixel) + 8MP (ultra-wide, 118° FOV, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses with LED flash.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo. The Motorola G71 houses stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.

Price and Availability

The Motorola Moto G71 5G is priced at 1699 Yuan ($267) and is already up for sale in China. It comes in Nebula Green and Glacier Blue colors.
