Motorola Moto E7 with Helio G25 SoC is official

Motorola, after announcing new Moto E7 Plus smartphone back in September has now unveiled vanilla Moto E7.

The new Moto E7 is a budget smartphone under its E Series lineup and features in plastic build and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has dual SIM slots with dual 4G VoLTE and houses a dedicated key for google assistant.

The Moto E7 feature in 6.5-inch IPS LCD MaxVision display with 1600 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. It runs on Android 10 OS offering near stock OS experience.

Internal hardware makes up of 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 2GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage space and allows further expansion up to 512GB using MicroSD card.

The Moto E7 specs include 4000mAh battery capacity which company claims to offer up to 36 hours of typical usage. The battery supports 10W charging as well.

In terms of optics, there is a 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side are dual cameras with LED Flash. It has 48MP primary rear camera with support for 4-in-1 quad pixel at 12MP photos. There is a 2MP secondary macro camera at the back as well.

Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm headphone jack is supported as well.

The Moto E7 price in Europe is set at €119.99 (US$ 142 / Rs. 10,550 approx.) and comes in Mineral Gray, Satin Coral and Aqua Blue colors. It will also roll out in select markets of Latin America, Middle East and Asia in coming weeks. [source]
