Motorola has officially unveiled its latest Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) smartphone. It is successor to last year’s Moto G Stylus (2021). Along with it company has also launched Moto G50 5G mobile in US (already unveiled in Australia).
The Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) is priced at $499.99 (Rs. 38,150 approx.) and comes in Seafoam Green and Steel Blue colors. The unlocked model is up for pre-sale and will be available in US at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Walmart and Motorola.com starting April 28th. The handset will also land at Cricket Wireless, Dish, Boost Mobile, Republic Wireless, Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular Xfinity Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, Google Fi, and Optimum Mobile in the coming months.
The Moto G50 5G price in US is set at $399.99 and comes in Moonlight Gray colors. The unlocked model will go on sale in U.S. markets from May 19th and will be available at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Walmart and Motorola.com. The Motorola G50 5G will also land at Cricket Wireless, Dish, Boost Mobile, Republic Wireless, AT&T, Xfinity Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, UScellular, Consumer Cellular, Google Fi, and Optimum Mobile in the coming months. Canadian markets will get stocks as well.

The mobile has dimensions of 168.9 x 75.8 x 9.3 mm and weighs about 215 grams. It has P2i splash resistant coating and comes with a built-in stylus. You get a side mounted fingerprint sensor, front ported speaker with Smart PA and Android 12 OS (with myUX).
The Moto G Stylus 5G boasts a 6.8-inch LCD display offering 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. It has octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor with Adreno 619L GPU. It packs in 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage space. It does allow further expansion.
Apparently, a 16MP camera is placed at front with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras with LED flash. These include 50MP main (F/1.9, quad-pixel, OIS), 8MP ultra-wide (118-degree, F/2.2, Macro mode) and 2MP depth (F/2.4) sensor.
The Motorola G Stylus 5G 2022 model features in 5000mAh battery and supports TurboPower 10 / Quick Charg 3.0 fast charging. It has connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.

This particular mobile is slightly different from the one launched in Australia. It has 50MP main rear camera with F/1.8 Aperture and quad-pixel tech. Paired with it are 2MP (depth, F/2.4) and 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses. For selfies, it includes 13MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture.
The Moto G50 5G measures 165.4 x 75.8 x 9.44 mm and weighs 204 grams. It has hybrid Dual Nano SIM Slots and supports 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VolLTE. It comes with bottom ported speaker with smart PA and supports Dolby Atmos. A fingerprint sensor is placed at side for secure unlocking.
The Motorola G50 5G boasts a 6.5-inch MaxVision display offering 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. Powering inside is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
It has 6GB RAM and 256GB storage space. It does allow further expansion using MicroSD card. A 5000mAh battery powers the hardware and supports 10W charging. The cell phone comes with IP52 water resistant rating and runs on Android 12 based MyUX.
