Samsung Japan wing has launched a new variant of Galaxy A23 5G smartphone. The handset is different from the variant announced back in August.
The new Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Japanese variant is priced at JPY 32,800 ($232 / Rs. 18,960 approx.) and is available in Black, White and Red colors. It is already up for sale in Japan.

The phone comes in dimensions of 150.0 x 71.0 x 9.0 mm and weighs about 168 grams. It comes with dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot. The phone sports a IPX5/IPX8/IP68 water and dust proof rating.
The new Galaxy A23 5G feature a side mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics. It runs on Android 12 and OneUI 4.1 on top. It has a 5.8-inch Infinity-V TFT LCD display that offers 1560 x 720 pixels resolution at 21.5:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. It has microSD card support up to 1TB for further storage expansion.
In terms of cameras, there is a 5MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is a single 50MP main camera with F/1.8 Aperture, Auto Focus and LED Flash. The cell phone houses a 4000mAh battery capacity inside.
For connectivity, it has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
