ZTE’s NUBIA brand has announced its new Nubia Watch. It was unveiled along side Nubia RedMagic 5s smartphone and is upgraded model of Nubia Alpha.
The Nubia Watch features in a huge 4.01-inch Flexible OLED display (Visionox) with 960 x 192 pixels resolution and 244 pixel density. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC inside with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.
The smartwatch comes with 316L stainless steel frame and skin-friendly silicone strap (Napa leather strap made from imported Italian calfskin option also available). Its body is made up of biomedical-grade ceramic.
It has a built-in Heart Rate sensor for real-time monitoring of heart beats. The smartwatch can also sense sleep status and allows exercise tracking. There is support for 4G via eSIM. For voice calling you require Bluetooth headset though.
The Nubia Watch houses 420mAhbattery which offers 36 hours of battery life or 6.5 days of standby. The smartwatch is also capable of showing notifications, SMS and Socia. App alerts. There is support for mobile payments as well.
The Nubia Watch price is 1799 Yuan (US$ 257 / Rs. 19,250 approx.) and comes in Black, Red and Green shades. It is already up for order in China and will go on sale from August 5th.
