Oppo K3 launched in India with up to 8GB RAM, price starts at Rs. 16990

Oppo has launched its new ‘K Series’ smartphone in India called OPPO K3. It is successor to OPPO K1 and was first introduced in China back in May. It comes in White, Green and Nebula Purple colors.

The phone flaunts a 6.5-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91.1% screen-to-body ratio. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Oppo K3 features in octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset which consists of two 2.2GHz Kryo 360 cores and six 1.7GHz Kryo 360 cores. It is paired with Adreno 616 GPU for the graphics.

With measurement of 161.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm and and 191 grams weight, the phone packs in dual SIM slots and a in-display fingerprint sensor. A 3765 mAh (typical) battery is present which supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

The Oppo K3 specs include 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB UFS 2.1 storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. It has Dolby Atmos support for audio.

The smartphone comes with 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. It is placed inside pop-up mechanism which has been tested for over 200,000 times. The rear side sports a 16MP (F/1.7, 6P lens, CAF, PDAF) and 2MP (F/2.4) dual shooters and LED Flash.

In terms of connectivity, it has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS + GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The Oppo K3 6GB/64GB variant price is Rs. 16,990 while the Oppo K3 8GB/128GB model costs Rs. 19,990. It will go on sale online at Amazon.in from July 23rd. It comes with several launch offers as well.
