Oppo has finally launched its latest R Series smartphones in India called R17 and R17 Pro. Both of these smartphones were first unveiled in China back in August.
The Oppo R17 price in India is Rs. 34,990 and comes in Twilight Blue and Starry Purple colors (with Gradient finish). The Oppo R17 Pro costs Rs. 45,990 in India and comes in Radiant Mist and Emerald Green colors. It is up for pre-order exclusively at Amazon.in.

Oppo R17

The device measures 157.5 x 74.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 182 grams. It has Dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. There is a in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
The R17 features in 6.4-inch multi-touch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has an impressive 91.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The smartphone packs in octa-core Snapdragon 670 (2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Mobile Platform with Adreno 615 GPU. It has 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM and 3500 mAh battery with 5V/4A VOOC Flash charge.
The Oppo R17 specs include 25MP selfie camera with Sony IMX576 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 3D portrait and AI capabilities. At the back side is dual camera setup consisting of 16MP (F/1.8) + 5MP and LED Flash.
Most of connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C are supported. THe device runs on ColorOS 5.2 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The pro variant houses an in-display fingerprint sensor (unlocks in 0.41 seconds) and is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo based ColorOS 5.2. It has dimensions of 157.6 x 74.6 x 7.9 mm and has weight of 183 grams.
The R17 Pro features in 6.4-inch multi-touch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 100% NTSC color gamung and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has 91.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The handset gets processing power from octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space, which is non expandable.
The Oppo R17 Pro specs include 12MP (F/1.5-2.4 variable aperture, OIS) +  20MP (F/2.6) + TOF 3D Cameras (total three snappers) at the back with LED Flash. For selfies, it has 25MP front facing shooter with F/2.0 Aperture, Sony IMX576 sensor and 3D portrait.
The phone features in 3700 mAh battery with 10V/5A (50W) SuperVOOC fast charging. It can go from 0 to 100% in just 40 minutes.
