POCO launched its M5 smartphone in India. Along with it, company has also introduced POCO M5s mobile phone for global markets. The device seems to be a revised version of Redmi Note 11 SE.
POCO M5s specs and features
It is an Android 12 powered smartphone with MIUI 13 on top. It has dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot.
The POCO M5s feature a side mounted fingerprint sensor and includes an IR Blaster. The device itself measures 160.46 x 74.5 x 8.29 mm and weighs weighs about 178.8 grams. It has IP53 water resistant rating.
Specs of POCO M5s include 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refersh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colors, DC Dimming and up to 1100nits brightness. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top.
Under the hood is an octa-core MediaTe Helio G95 processor with 900MHz ARM Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. It has 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM options with 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage space. There is support for MicroSD card up to 512GB.
The POCO M5s specs include 5000mAh (typical) battery with 33W fast charging. It has stereo speakers inside with Hi-Res audio. A 13MP camera is placed at front with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back side is a combo of 64MP (main, F/1.8), 8MP (118° ultra-wide), 2MP (depth, F/2.4) and 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses.
Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB type-C, GPS/GLONSS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
