POCO has officially launched its newest M Series smartphone in India called POCO M5. It comes in Icy Blue, Power Black and POCO Yellow colors.
POCO M5 specs and features
It is a Dual SIM mobile with dedicated Nano slots and dual 4G VoLTE support. It comes with IP52 splash and dust resistant rating and sports a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
The POCO M5 comes in measurements of 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9 mm and weighs about 201 grams. The handset comes with leather like rear design. It has Android 11 based MIUI pre-installed.
The cell phone gets you a 6.58-inch LCD display which has 2408 x 1080 pixels resolution, 30Hz/60Hz/90Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 500nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Specifications of POCO M5 include octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor with ARM mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM options paired with 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage variants. There is a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 512GB.
For optics, there is an 8MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 main sensor with F/1.8 Aperture, a 2MP depth camera with F/2.4 Aperture and 2MP portrait lens with F/2.4 Aperture.
The POCO M5 houses a 5000mAh (typical) battery setup with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.3, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
