Along with Redmi Note 10 5G, Xiaomi has also announced Redmi Note10 Pro 5G mobile in China. It is a mid-range mobile with a decent specs sheet.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G comes with IP53 splash resistant coating. It has Dual nano SIM slots with support for 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE. The device measures 163.3 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 193 grams.
The mobile is powered by Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. It comes with a fingerprint sensor at side. There is no 3.5mm audio jack so you will have to suffice with USB Type-C audio. The handset sports dual stereo speakers delivering sound tuned by JBL Audio. It throws out Hi-Res audio and sports Dolby Atmos.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G feature a 6.6-inch LCD display with resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has HDR10+ output, up to 120Hz refresh rate (adaptive sync variable refresh rate 24/50/60/90/120Hz), up to 450nits brightness and delivers 100% DCI-P3 colors. For added durability, Redmi has also included Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top.
Powering inside this cellphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC with ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It has options of 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage space and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Other specifications of Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G include 64MP (F/1.79) + 8MP (119-degree ultra-wide, F/2.3) + 2MP (4cm macro, F/2.4) triple cameras with LED Flash. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16MP front facing camera.
Powering phone’s hardware is a 5000mAh (typical) / 4900mAh (minimum) battery capacity and has support for 67W fast charging. It also supports PD / QC fast charging protocols. Company claims that Note 10 Pro 5G battery fully charges in about 42 minutes.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, NFC 3.0 and GPS/GLONASS/Bediou. The smartphone also sports IR sensor and X-axis vibration motor inside.
