Xiaomi Redmi brand has officially introduced Redmi Note 10s and Redmi Note 10 5G smartphones. These were announced along side Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max mobiles.
The Redmi Note 10s 6GB/64GB model is priced at $229 (Rs. 16,730 approx.) while its 6GB/128GB variant costs $249 (Rs. 18,200 approx.). Phone’s 8GB/128GB model has price-tag of $279 (Rs. 20,380 approx.). The handset comes in Onyx Gray, Pebble White and Ocean Blue colors and will start rolling out in April.
The Redmi Note 10 5G 4GB/64GB price is set at $199 (Rs. 14,540 approx.) while its 4GB/128GB variant has price-tag of $229 (Rs. 16,730 approx.) It comes in Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver, Nighttime Blue and Aurora Green colors. The handset is also slated to roll out in April.
Redmi Note 10s
This particular mobile sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Its screen offer 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, delivers 100% DCI-P3 colors and up to 1100 nits brightness.
The phone has measurements of 160.46 x 74.5 x 8.3 mm and has weight of 178.8 grams. It has IP53 rating for water resistance and a side mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.
The Redmi Note 10S specs include octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. It has options of 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB storage (LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 Storage). A dedicated MicroSD card slot allows further expansion.
Optics include 13MP front camera with F/2.45 Aperture. At the back side house 48MP (main 1/2″ Sony IMX582, 0.8um) + 8MP (118° ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) sensor with LED flash.
Coming to other features of Redmi Note 10s, it has 5000mAh (typ) battery with 33W fast charging support. It has stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and 3.5mm audio jack.
Other gimmicks like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C and GPS are present as well. Notably, the handset include dual Nano Slots and powered by Android 11 based MIUI 12.

Apart from 5G support, the Redmi Note 10 5G has several cutdown specs. It comes with 6.5-inch LCD display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, delivers up to 500nits of brightness and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The phone has dimensions of 161.81 x 75.34 x 8.92 mm and weighs 190 grams. It comes with side mounted fingerprint sensor and IR sensor. The phone supports 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE via is Dual Nano Slots.
The Redmi Note 10 5G features in octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB/128GB storage (UFS 2.2). It also includes a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 512GB.
The mobile comes pre-installed with Android 11 with MIUI 12 (upgradable to MIUI 12.5). It has 5000mAh (typical) battery with 18W fast charging support.
In terms of cameras, it has 8MP front shooter with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are 48MP (main, F/1.79) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) cameras with LED flash.
