Redmi brand from Xiaomi expands its Note 10 portfolio with the launch of Redmi Note 10 smartphone. The device is IP52 rated for water resistance and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi Note 10 feature a 6.43-inch super AMOLED display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen delivers 1100nits of peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colors, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 4500000:1 contrast and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Redmi Note 10 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 678 processor and Adreno 612 GPU. It comes in options of 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB / 128GB UFS 2.2 storage options. They have a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 512GB.
In terms of dimensions, the cellphone measures 160.46 x 74.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 178.8 grams. It has dual Nano SIM slots for Dual 4G VoLTE and boots on Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top (upgradable to MIUI 12.5).
The Redmi Note 10 specs include a 5000mAh battery capacity with 33W fast charging support. It has stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio and includes 3.5mm headphone jack. Also included inside is z-axis linear motor.
In terms of cameras, there is a 13MP front facing 1/3.06-inch OV13B10 shooter placed inside 3.54mm punch hole. The back side includes quad-cameras with LED Flash. These make of 48MP (main 1/2-inch Sony IMX582 sensor, 0.8um, F/1.79) + 2MP (4cm macro, 1/5-inch GC02M1XA sensor, F/2.4, 1.12um) + 8MP (ultra-wide 1/4-inch Sony IMX355, F/2.2, 1.12um) + 2MP (1/5-inch Depth, F/2.4, 1.75um) snappers with LED flash.
The Redmi Note 10 has array of sensors like 360̊ Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity, E-compass, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and IR sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), USB Type-C, Bluetooth V5.0 and GPS/GLONASS.
The Redmi Note 10 colour options include Shadow Black, Frost White and Aqua Green paint jobs. It will go on sale in India at Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores from March 16th. Buyers can avail up to Rs. 500 discount on ICICI Bank credit cards with EMI options. There Rs. 10000 worth of Jio benefits on Rs. 349 plan.
