Redmi along with Redmi Note 9 Series has also unveiled its new Redmi Watch in China. The smartwatch is 5ATM rated for water resistance up to 50 meters.
The Redmi Watch measures 41 x 35 x 10.9 mm and weighs 35 grams (with strap). It comes with multi-functional NFC for making secure touch-free payments. The watch uses Bluetooth V5.0 for connectivity with smartphones (Android 5.0 or iOS10.0 or above).
The smartwatch houses heart rate sensor for 24-hour real-time heart rate monitoring and automated heart rate measurement. It also gives out sedentary reminders and can track steps taken and calories burnt. It has Sleep detection as well.
The Redmi Watch features in 7 sports modes like walking, Indoor running, outdoor running, indoor cycling, outdoor cycling, swimming and freestyle. There is a 230mAh battery inside which gives about 7 days of battery back on typical use. Under long battery life mode, one can get upto 12 days.
Talking about the display, Redmi Watch has 1.4-inch LCD touch screen with 320 x 320 pixels resolution and 323ppi pixel density. It shows all the data including call notifications, messages, reminders and alarms. The wearable also house six-axis sensor, ambient light sensor and geomagnetic sensor.
The Redmi Watch price is 269 Yuan (US$ 41 / Rs. 3020 approx.) and comes in Elegent Black, Ink Blue and Ivory White colors (all with matching straps, other strap options available). It is already up for order and will start selling in Chinese markets from December 1st.
