Xiaomi’s Redmi brand, along with K30 Series smartphones has also unveiled its new RedmiBook 13 laptop. It is basically a smaller version of RedmiBook 14.
The laptop measures 323 x 228 x 16.3 mm and weighs about 1.23 kg. It boots on Windows 10 OS and sports a metal build. It has 13.3-inch display with narrow edges boating 89% screen-to-body ratio and 178-degree wide viewing angles.
The RedmiBook 13 can be configured with 10th Generation Intel Core-i5 / i7 processor coupled with NVIDIE GeForce MX250 (2GB GDDR5) Graphics. It comes with 8GB DDR4 (2133MHz) RAM and 512GB SATA SSD storage. There It also comes with professional “Hurricane” cooling system which includes 0.1mm sLCP ultra-thin fan blade, 6mm diameter double heat pipe and All copper cooling module.
It has a 40W battery with fast charging support and offers about 11 hours of battery life. There is support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Dual Band, USB 3.1, HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth. You also get two 2W speakers with DTS audio and Realtek ALC256 Chip.
The RedmiBook 13 Core i5 model price is 4799 Yuan (US$ 680 / Rs. 48,350 approx.) while the RedmiBook 13 Core i7 variant costs 5499 Yuan (US$ 780 / Rs. 55,400 approx.). It comes in Moonlight silver color and will be available in China from December 12th.
