South Korean giant Samsung has officially announced Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-G887N) smartphone in Korea. It is basically a variant of Galaxy A8s (SM-G8870) smartphone which is already official in China.
The phone has measurements of 158.4 x 74.9 x 7.4 mm and has weight of 173 grams. It has dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and comes with rear facing fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) specs include 6.4-inch Infinity-O display and comes with very slim bezels. The screen offers 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood is an octa-core (2.2Ghz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 6GB RAM, 12GB internal memory and supports further expansion up to 512GB using MicroSD card.
The Galaxy A9 Pro features in triple camera setup at the back which consists of 24MP (F/1.7) + 10MP (telephoto, F/ 2.4) + 5MP (depth, F/2.2) shooters and LED flash. There is a 24MP front facing camera with F/2.0 Aperture for selfies.
The mobile gets power form 3400 mAh (typical) / 3300 mAh (minimum) battery capacity. Adaptive fast charging is also supported. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, USB Type-C, NFC, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and USB Type-C.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) price is 599,500 Korean Won (US$ 533 / Rs. 37,890 approx.) and comes in Absolute Black, Black and Blue colors. It will be available at Samsung’s online website, National DDigital Plaza, Department stores, High-mart and ET Land.
