Samsung has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone called Galaxy S21 FE. The cell phone has been leaked and teased several times in the past and now, it is finally official..
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications and features
The mobile phone comes in dimensions of 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm and has weight of 177 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G comes with IP68 water resistant rating. It is offered in both single and dual SIM versions. It brings support for 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE.
The device packs in a 6.4-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display that offers 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate (in Game Mode). Its display has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specs include octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. There a different variant which houses Octa-core Samsung Exynos 2100 processor.
The cell phone has options of 6GB / 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB built-in space. Some storage space is utilized thanks to pre-installed Android 12 OS with OneUI 4 on top.
In camera department, the Galaxy S21 FE houses a 32MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras with LED Flash. These include 12MP (main, dual-pixel AF, F/1.8, OIS) + 12MP (123-degree ultra-wide-angle, F/2.2) + 8MP (telephoto, F/2.4, OIS, PDAF, 3X optical, 30X space zoom).
The smartphone comes with several shooting modes. It has Night mode which combines up to 14 images in a multi-frame single image. The mobile supports multi-camera recording that combines front and rear camera into a single video. It includes AI face restoration that leverages deep learning to enhance facial textures (eyebrows, lips etc.). Samsung has included Object Eraser which is similar to Pixel 6 Magic Eraser.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G packs a 4500mAh battery and supports 25W wired / 15W wireless fast charging. It allows wireless power share as well. The device includes stereo speakers that deliver surround sound with Dolby Atmos.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB 3.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo, NFC (with Samsung Pay) and Type-C audio.

The Galaxy S21 FE has Graphite, White, Lavender and Olive colors. The handset will start rolling out in Europe and US markets from January 11th. This mobile phone will also land in India during this time frame.
