Samsung had officially announced Galaxy S8 smartphone back in March 2017. It came in several color like Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold. Today, Samsung has unveiled Burgundy Red color Galaxy S8 model.
Apart from color, other specifications of S8 are the same. To jock up your memory, the handset is 8mm thick and weighs 155 grams. It has 5.8-inch curved Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the front and back.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4 RAM options with 64GB / 128GB internal memory (expandable).
The handset is powered by 3000 mAh battery capacity and supports fast charging, both via Wired and Wireless (WPC and PMA)
The new Samsung Galaxy S8 Burgundy Red color variant will initially launch in Korea on November 28th (today) and will land in select markets gradually with time.
