Samsung has just launched its latest flagship phone called Galaxy S8 at an event held in New York.
It measures 148.9 x 68.1 x 8 mm and weighs 155 Grams. It has invisible home button, which responds just like physical buttons. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.
It marks a new era of smartphone design. It has infinity display has that goes till its aluminium shell. The handset comes with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
It is also equipped with Fingerprint sensor, Heart rate sensor, Iris scanner, Facial Recognition and Barometer. Other sensors include Acceleromter, Gyro, Geomagnetic, Hall, Proximity Sensor, RGB Light Sensor and Pressure sensor. It also supports Samsung Pay and is equipped with array of security features.

It’s front camera is of 8MP with F/1.7 Aperture, 1/3.6-inch Sensor, 80-degree FOV, 1.22µm pixels, 80-degree FOV and supports fast Auto Focus as well. The back side features a 12MP dual pixel snapper with F/1.7 Aperture, 1/2.55-inch sensor size, 1.4µm pixel size, 77-degree FOV, 8x Digital Zoom, LED Flash and 4K recording capabilities. It has multi-frame image processor that takes multiple photos and combines the best aspects to get the best picture. It also has pro-mode, Panorama, Slow Motion, Food Mode and Hyperlapse.
The smartphone is powered by 3000 mAh battery. It supports Wired and Wireless (PC and PMA) fast charging as well. It offers talk time of up to 20 hours, 4G internet usage of up to 12 hours and Video playback up to 16 hours.
