Samsung has already launched Galaxy Watch Active2 4G smartwatch in India back in December 2019. Now, company has introduced Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium Edition in India under ‘Make in India’ initiative. It is also company’s first smartwatch made in India.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium Edition has dimensions of 44 x 44 x 10.9 mm and weighs 30 grams. It offers MIL-STD-810G grade durability and comes with 5ATM and IP68 water resistant rating.
Talking about specs, it has 1.4-inch Super AMOLED circular display with 360 x 360 pixels resolution. It is an always on full-color display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. It has e-SIM support (Jio and Airtel) for calls, messages and notifications (without the need of smartphone).
It has Heart Rate Monitor with 8 Photodiodes, supports Electrocardiogram (ECG) and houses accelerometer which can measure up to 32G of force. The smartwtach runs on Tizen-based Wearble OS which is compatible with most Android 5.0 and above or iPhone 5 and above smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G Aluminium Edition features in 1.15GHz Exynos 9110 dual-core processor with 1.5GB RAM and 4GB ROM. It has 340mAh battery capacity and supports WPC based wireless charging. Notably, LTE function is compatible only with Samsung smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium Edition price in India is Rs. 28,490 and comes in Pink Gold, Aqua Black and Cloud Silver colors. It will go on sale from July 11 and will be available at Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com, Online portals and retail stores. Buyers can avail 6 months no-cost EMI offer and 10% cash back. The offer is limited till July 31, 2020.
