Samsung launches Galaxy A12 in India starting Rs. 12999

Samsung has officially launched Galaxy A12 smartphone in India. It was first introduced in European markets last year in November. The handset is direct successor to Galaxy A11.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 comes with dimensions of 164 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm and has weight of 205 grams. It has Dual SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE support.

The mobile is powered by Android 10 OS with One UI. It has 5000mAh battery inside with 15W fast charging support. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the side for authentication and quick unlocking.

The Galaxy A12 houses a 6.5-inch Infinity-V display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Pumping inside is octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor with 4GB RAM.

The cell phone is offered in two storage options, 64GB and 128GB. It has MicroSD card support for further expansion. Photography is done with an 8MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture, while its rear shooters include 48MP (main, F/2.0) + 5MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) cameras and LED Flash.

In terms of connectivity, it has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 12,999 while its 4GB/128GB variant costs slightly higher at Rs. 13,999. The mobile comes in White, Black and Blue colors. It will go on sale at Samsung.com, leading online portals and retail stores starting February 17th.

There are several launch offers on Galaxy A12. For starters, Jio users can avail instant cashback worth Rs. 3000 on pre-paid recharges of Rs. 349 plan. They also get Rs. 4000 worth vouchers from its partners. Vi users can get double data benefits for first 3 months or first three recharges on Rs. 299 recharge.
